had a pump come in that has fine rust in it. very gritty and so bad that just about everything was gummed up. customer tells us that the parts store only gives them 1 number for both primary and secondary filters instead of a canister filter and a sock filter. anybody care to comment on where to get good secondary filters? we are assuming the rust is coming from the fuel tank. or could a hose past the filter be deteriating that might have steel braid in it? I think he gets his filters either from napa or car quest. are there better replacement filter numbers he should be looking for other than what they cross out of the book? tnx, martin
