I like to take the drain plug out of thwe bottom of the carb (right under the load screw on an M) Let the bowl drain and then turn on the gas at the tank to check your flow. The is a screen where the line goes into the carb that could be plugged, also might be plugged in the flaot valve itself. You can take the bowl off the carb and see how it is doing. And just to let you know, you don't have to remove the manifold to get the carb off. just take the screws out that hook up the throttle shaft and wiggle it a little. The whole works will drop down.
