Casting codes are typically printed much like a
date, except the year is symbolized by a letter
(e.g. 3-15-T) means the part was cast on
March 15, 1950. These codes appear on the
major / larger parts of the tractor. The Codes
begin with H (1938) and continue
consecutively through Z (1954). A = 1955, B =
1956, C = 1957, and D = 1958. If you look at
the major parts (such as the plate that covers
the rear gear housing, etc), it should help
verify the date of the tractor.
