In one of my mag books it says your not supposed to remove the rotor from the housing because it will lose magnetism.That means you should only remove it to an iron sleeve that goes over top and preserves the field.I have the book about tha recharger from Lindsay books but have not made one yet.It seems like a good set of instructions.You need a copper wire that contains iron but a spplier is listed in the book.I know that on dragsters its standard procedure to recharge the magnets quite often.
