I changed a 414 to a 436 and only had to change the crank and pistons. I also changed the flywheel (wanted a bigger clutch) and added a turbo. Seems to me there are plugs in the block for added oil flow that I took out when I added the trubo. I was told that the heads were different between the turbo and non-turbo engines. Oh, the dipstick is shorter on the 436 because it takes more oil.
