We've got an International 886 that seems to use the D-358 engine also (or so I'm told). Are you suggesting that if I need to replace this engine that I might have OTHER options than the 358 to replace it with? Engine currently runs but leaks water into oil...fearing bad seals on sleeves and then possible need for overhaul. Been wondering if might be easier to replace with rebuilt BUT...if I did that, I'd wonder if it would be better to rebuild with an engine that didn't use wet sleeves??
