Just how steep of hill where you on ???? i have had some problems before with tractors down in the real humps and bumps of Carrol county . Two things come to mind here , One that you are a littel low on Hy Trann. the other is that there is a hole in the pick up tube and it sucked air and oh yea the O/ring between the speed trans and the range trans is either hard and sucking air there or someone forgot to put it in i have found that five times now . You can run the fluid level over a couple gal. and see if that helps.
