You might have a replacement torque tube. Also the difference between the Feb engine block and the July transmission is a little long. There were only 80 Super A's built in 1947. Do you have hydraulics -- the torque tube has to be flat on top for attachment of the hydraulic reservoir, beginning with SA production in late 1947. Not sure you don't have parts from 3 tractors. IH assembled over 18000 SA's in 1948. That's 58 a day, assuming a 6 day week. I don't think they let their castings sit around any longer than it took them to cure. I don't think I have seen casting dates 5 months apart on an intact tractor, much less over a year.
