The CASTING DATE "7-1-Q" date July 1, 1947 .
Add 8 to 10 weeks --- your "Farmall Super A"
was assembled bstween Sept. 1 and Sept. 14, 1947.

The motor SERIAL NUMBER (or CASTING DATE) does not date a tractor.

Only the chassis CASTING DATE would date your tractor. You did your home work well.
