Back in the late fourtys we hade a 27v,I think that i what Dad called it......there was two short plates that were bolted to the mower draw bar......the plates then bolted to the M draw bar......I was a small boy and I had a hard time getting them lined up......As I remember it did a fine job ...We keep our road sides mowed and it takes a good sickle bar mower to do a goood job in grass....
