I think the main inserts can be replaced after dropping the pan. The manual says to remove the retainer plate over the rear seal so you can remove the rear main bearing cap. Be careful when removing the inserts so you do not damage the
crankshaft machined suface. R&R could be removal
and reinstall.

If the crankshaft needs to be ground you will need to pull the engine. Hal
