Sounds like you have carb problems . a sticking or not sealing float with the leaking gas and some clogged passages with your high speed problem. Probally from sitting. Best to just take it off and clean the whole thing.As for service manual just about any of them are good, some are pricey.Your carb is pretty straight forward to remove . If you get a rebuild kit you will have instructions. I've had a W6 and W4 but sold these . About a 11/2 years ago I aquired a SW4 in ONT. Hope this helps Ed
