speedy-sleeve questions

I read with great interest the post about the speedy sleeve and new seal solution for a leaking hydraulic pump (my tractor is a 300). I would like to know more information about this sleeve as I have never heard of or seen one. How do you install it? How will I know if I need a sleeve as I do not have a caliper? Also, how do you get the gear off the shaft? Will I need a new gasket? Last but not least, does anybody happen to know the part number for the seal? If I have to buy a new pump, I can kiss my new brush hog good-by. Thanks in advance for your advice.
