PerdueAg, Hope that works for you. But one leak in the float may be an indication that the entire float wall has corroded to the point that you will experience future leaks rather soon. It did that to me a couple of years ago. I used JB Weld instead of solder. Make sure you use as little as you can, cause the stuff is heavy. I sealed one hole, but several months later another developed; I sealed it, and next thing I know the float is just too heavy with all the patching to do its job. That's when I had to beg on this sight for a NOS replacement float for a Carter carb. You know the rest of the story. The guys on this sight came to the rescue. My NOS float has my 52 SC running good as gold (except I got to let that durned nest of wrens twixt the radiator and fan fledge afore I can crank her up again!)
