H Carb Leaks Like a Seive

All of the sudden (in the middle of the night) my H carb
started leaking a stream of gas out of the choke arm (I
forgot to turn off the gas at the tank). At any rate, I don't
think the gas level in the carb is supposed to be up that
high in the first place. What's wrong, the float? Any
ideas?
