Okay, Get the derned old rascal outta the shop, borrow a couple of bucks from the wife and fill 'er full of fuel. Gauge comes up to about an eighth of a tank and promptly drops to empty. Has stayed there ever since. Checked it out, pulled the goofy sender tonight and of course the wiper arm isn't makin' contact with the rheostat any more. Old like me I �spose. :>( Took a tiny lock pick and ever so gently, reached in behind it and bent the little wiper arm so that it had more tension. Works now! :>) Allan
