I had mine off the other day. It can be done by one man but it is MUCH easier with 2. Take the hood off. On the carb side, use a socket with extension (can't remember if we used a flex or not because I was on the other side with a regular Snap-On combination wrench). I used the open end side of the wrench. The only problem you may have will be that you can't get the wrench on the nut because of the nuts position. No problem, hold your open end wrench against the nut, have your helper turn from the other end(off direction). The bolt and nut will turn together. When the right angle is reached, your wrench will just slip onto the nut and your helper can unscrew it. I hope this helps.
