miss on a 707

Got my 706 home yesterday. Did a tune-up, oil change. Had a miss comming off idle fast when I bought it, but figured the bad points were the cause. Now with new points and condenser it still does the same. All I see is an idle mixture adjustment, nothing for the high speed or anything. Could use all the help I can get. Thinking I might need to rebuild the carb.
