300U Front Lug bolt size

Okay, I just got the front wheels off...bless
the guy that bedded the lug bolts in grease.
Worst force required was a rap on the head (the
bolt's not mine) with hammer.

However, the bolts are as old as the tractor,
and I think the heads have ablated over the
years due to rust...they took a 13/16 wrench.

Is that right? What should it be otherwise?

Only one gave me a worry as it tried hard to
round off but came out first. None the less,
I'm not putting old rusty bolts back in the
soon-to-be-freshly-painted wheels.
