Hi Fred, All I can speak from is from my own experiences so take it with a grain of salt. After the implements started getting over about 12' wide, the handwriting was starting to become apparent on the wall. The fast hitch was on its way out because it just could not handle the heavier loads without some massive hitching going on at the implement. So, it was a matter of gradually, over the years, switching to both three-point equipment and tractors while at the same time retaining enough horsepower in the fast hitch configuration to get the job done with the old fast hitch equipment that was still on the job. It took us about 10 to 12 years to get everything swapped over. Allan
