F12 starter

I was talking with a friend about his 1937 F12. Could you get them with an electric starter? If not could you put one on an F12.

My experience is with letter series tractors. So I know very little about the F series or the number series. Any recommendations on books or internet sites where I might learn more about Farmalls before and after the letter series?
