'43 Farmall H Clutch

Just finished �un-splitting my grandpa�s �43 H back together. The tractor had a cracked pressure plate and worn out clutch, but the clutch pedal travel was normal, the clutch was just slipping. Now, with a refurbished PP, relined clutch, new pilot and throwout bearings, the clutch pedal goes almost all the way down before actuating clutch. The tractor is not yet running, but when it is, will I be able to put it in gear, or will it lunge right out the back wall of the garage before I get it out of gear? Do I just need to adjust the clutch pedal linkage?
