I purchase them when possible -- new USA water pumps are not available, the rebuilt ones are more than twice what I paid. I am as patriotic as about anyone, but what I buy has to fit my budget. Otherwise I'll store my money in my mattress and no one will benefit. We lose farms because the US government restricts trade, and the labor unions tend to price us out of the market. The fact is we have a global economy. I still buy US when I can find it. Hard to do sometimes. I was pleased to find that the engine kit for my 460 -- over $1800 counting machine work, was USA made, except for some Mexican gaskets.
