SM paint/powder coating

I got to thinking, when, if, I get to doing all the work I want to do on my SM, maybe getting the engine powder-coated black? Not dull but not too shiny either. Any opinions on how that could look? Maybe even get the rims powder-coated silver too. Maybe I should get the H done first before I go experimenting on the SM as it was bought by my grandmother (for my grandpa) at a year old as a used demo unit.
