Brake fluid in a trans? Brake fluid is Hygroscopic,it attracts moisture.That would add water to the trans,which would freeze in the cold and amplify TA problems.It also would cause corrosion on the internal parts.Brake fluid is nasty stuff.

I still have trouble putting HY-Tran in instead of the originally recommended motor oil...(I still shudder at the thinner viscosity/potential leakage,and lesser lubrication qualities).Sorta like putting Hy Tran in the engine instead of motor oil....
But maybe thats just false concerns...
