You lossen the dist bolts with the hold down clamps. Set to top dead center compression line up the timing marks on the front. Turn the dist toward the engine I beleve all the way then take the coil wire and put it under the cap hold down on the top so it holds it close to the nut on the side and turn the switch on and turn the dist out untill it sparks and stop and tighten it up . Then turn the motor overa full cycle or back a little ways and when it sparks like that again it should line up with the timing marks if not do it again. MagMan
