Conflicting Years

Can someone please help me here. I have an M and a SM with serial numbers 36880 and 25920 respectively. I just bought the both of them for $1000 and haven't got to see them yet. The above serial nums are all I have. I'd like to know the year of each. Thanks in advance -ben
