I just bolted the block back up to the clutch housing. I hooked up the clutch linkage and it does not feel right. There is a lot of pedal travel before the throwout engages the clutch. Then the clutch does not release before the pedal bottoms out. I unhooked the pedal and used a cheater on the clutch lever and it released just fine. It's a completely new clutch. Do I just need to lengthen the rod to the pedal? is there some internal adjustment to be made? I don't want to put the block together anymore until I get this straightened out in case I have to pull it back apart. I can drop the belly pump and get to it if I need to, I guess.
