Look at the casting date codes on big parts like the block, head, torque tube, tranny case, rear axle tubes, etc. If they end in Y or Z (meaning 1953 and 1954) it's definitely a Super. Later months with an X year code could also mean a Super. However earlier months with an X year; and date letters earlier in the alphabet than X indicate a regular H. Only the later production (so-called "stage II") Super H's has live hydraulics - early production have belly pumps. All however have C-164 engines and disk brakes.
