Ih 656 LP Good Tractor?

I have found a 656 on LP, that I can buy for a decent price. But I have to buy his Farmall 300LP with it. How good are these tractors? Any problem areas that I need to look at/for? The 300 does not seem to have the TA?? Did they come with out it? Both run, and sound pretty good, no smoke. Price for both is $2500. Thanks.
