Freud Mkae sure you use a National trpper pipe or NPT not a straight pipe if you use a straight pipe tap the pip[e will not get tight after you clean the threads. And it is 2" NPT not 2-1/4" NPT. The best way to tap the manifold is with it on the tractor, never did it anyother way.
