I understand. I looked on John Deere's parts web page and find both numbers you gave me and they are cheaper than the universal style boots I found at Napa. I bet they will work. At Napa, you simply had to know if the tie rod end "stud" was 1/2", 9/16", 5/8" or 3/4" where it would fit snug around the "stud" end - the other end was simply an open unbrella style. My factory boots have little pieces of wire that secure them to the tie rod end at both places to assure no dirt can get in. I like them better because of this feature but it doesn't look like I'll find them easily.
