Dion: The belly mower is quite flexable. I run mine anywhere from fast idle to full throttle depending on conditions. As gene said very few ag implenents need to be that exact. Don't worry about getting over speed with any transmission driven PTO, IH tractor. Prior to 1958 full throttle was 540 on all IH tractors or very close. 140 was that way until end of production.
