Have you checked/replaced your thermostat? Also if you rebuilt your injectors and not your pump, the pump might be worn some and not generating the pressures needed to open the injectors fully. You could back out the fuel screw a 1/4 or 1/2 turn and see if it makes a difference. If it does back out some more but it would be good idea to hook it up to a dyno to make sure you don't turn it up to much. Your 706 is opposite from my 756 310. Mine smokes quite a bit at idle and when you pull open the throttle and at full throttle but the coolant warms right up to 160 or so in a few minutes.
