John I would diagree about the relief valve they don't as a rul get worse as the oil heats up, that sounds more like the pump has the oil warms up the oil is thinner and the clearenc in the pump lets the oil by. the relief valve is just a sping and seal if the spring is weak it just doe not hold as much preessure.
