The cable kill switch was on all the new letter series tractors of 1939 using the H-4 magneto, and was continued on the 1940 models as well. To the best of my knowledge, the push button kill switch appeared on the 1941 models. There were, however, still some F and W series still in production in 1939 that used the F-4 not the H-4 mag.
