So how do you guys feel about all those people wanting to put loaders on Cubs? :-( I repaired mine by carefully drilling and tapping oversized holes for the timing gear cover, and adding an extra or two. The holes were drilled absolutely as deep as possible...tapped all the way to the bottom...and special bolts made up to exact length. I coated the inside of the timing gear cover with blue stuff. It was working fine after about 6 years when I sold the tractor.
