Ya got her locked in 5th, Pull the shifter off and look and see if all three rails are lined up . If not then take the one that is not lined up and move it so that the slot is even all the way across . Your shifter is getting woren and if you don't make stright movement it will do this. You can try and find a better used one or if you are handy with a welder and grinder you can rebuild it .
