That photo sure stirs up some memories! Believe it or not, we USED to get some decent snowfalls in Central Ohio, like back in the 1960s. At first, we did not live on our farm, so we had to drive to it, say about 3 miles, and get the chores done morning and night. If the lane was snowed in, Dad and I would park on the road and trundle in to the barn and fire up the H. We would then use the H to wallow out the lane by just driving up and down it a few times so that we could get the truck to the barn. This was a must as we had no well on the farm yet, and we had to truck water in to the livestock. Some of my first seat time on our H was packing down the snow. I was fascninated at how well the Old Girl would walk thru deep snow.
