I'll vote for more tractor shows too! And although I did catch a pretty neat horse-oriented show on there yesterday about using horse teams to pull logs out of snowy forests, most of those "horse training" programs on there I'll just skip over. We raised and broke our own horses to use here on the ranch until about '87, and always viewed horses as "tools" rather than an "entertainment hobby"(although to be completely fair I guess the same thing always has held true about tractors too). Our horses never got the kind of training shown on those programs but they'd do ranch work alongside any horse in the country. The "training" our young horses got involved basically dad telling me to get on 'em. If they moved on thier own, fine(even if it was straight up in the air!), and if they just froze in their tracks like most young horses do dad would dally the halter rope to his saddlehorn and away we'd go. Once they went on their own, after a few months of every-day cattle work on them they'd eventually quit bucking me off and start to enjoy their work and then the older guys would start riding them. Sorry to go off-topic there!

When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and
