Both are good tractors. I've used both extensively and they will do a lot of work. if you have the option, you might consider the Super M against the WD45 since they are contemporaries. The M discontinued production in about '51 and if I remember that far back correctly, the WD45 started production in '53. Comparison with the Super M may change the choice since the Super had several features the M didn't have.
You've gotten good advice from several people here and it all depends on your personal preferences for the uses you plan to make of the tractor. Regardless of which you choose, I hope you can enjoy either of two very fine tractors.
