Yep its on my H. I went back to the barn right after I typed this question. I finally fiqured out that I could use a 3/8 rachet extention in between the two bull gear bolts and while backing the one out it actually pressed the axle and bearing out and I was able to get the gear out of the way. Only after removing the pto shaft. This is an amazing amount of work. I wish I had just tried to pull the seal some other way. How do I know if the shifting forks and the gears are in the right position before re-attaching the lid? Lord, Lord, Lord..............
