I have yet to sell a tractor, because I haven't been doing this very long. Getting the money back is hopeless, the 2 B's that sold are typical. Unless I have a "Super MDV-TA or something, the price I get if and when I sell something will be a fraction of what I put into it -- I knew that before I started. I don't do "PPG or DuPont overhauls". I am currently working on a 460 high utility, the engine is out, reground crank and camshaft, complete overhaul kit sitting on the bench ready to install. There is no grease at all on the tractor, chassis is down to bare metal, it will be painted whenever I get all the small parts cleaned up. Paint will cost $250-$300. I repair stuff, replace seals and gaskets as I go. Because that's the way I like to do it, also why I'm always broke!
