Hello Everyone, I am in need of some advice. My Father in Law has a 1952 Farmall Super A. It has rear wheel weights and it also has a front snow plow. He is moving and asked me to haul it to my place for him. We live about 30 minutes apart. Lets say 25 miles and that would be high end for sure. Maybe closer to 20. One hill to go up and over and down. I don't have a proffesional trailer per say. All I have is a 6' x 12' Leonard with a 3500 lbs axle. The tires are only rated for 1100 Lbs each though so Safely I suppose we would only be looking at 2200 lbs. There are no trailer brakes. I am towing with a Toyota 4runner that is rated at 5000 lbs with a class III hitch. Would it be SAFE to pull this tractor on the trailer or Am I asking for a problem. I almost hate to pay someone to haul it such a short trip. I know the tractor will easily fit on the trailer with room to spare. Thanks for any help on this.
