Wow...I was away from the site for a few days, and it looks like I missed a lot of action! ;-) I just wanted to add my two cents -- three years ago, I didn't know a thing about engines, trannies or tractors in general. Today, I still have a lot to learn, but I've successfully restored a C to parade condition, a 400D to working condition, and I'm hip deep in an M right now. This has become not just a hobby for me, but it helps keep me sane. I wouldn't have been able to do what I've done, or learn what I've learned, without this board and its members. All things being equal, I'd just as soon see someone post a mental musing here and there without being terribly concerned over appropriateness. It's pretty easy to hit the back button on the browser when I find something not relevant to me. Thanks to all, - David
