Hi Mace, According to your measurements you'll
need .030" undersize insert bearings. 1.7495-1.7200= .0295"; I would take that crankshaft to
an automotive machine shop to verify your measurements and to see what the condition of the bearing surfaces are. They will tell you in a few minutes whether the shaft needs any machining and what undersize bearings are recommended. You need close tolerances on the main bearings too, so you have good oil pressure. Hal
