Pull off the head and oil pan, Cut out the ridge at the upper end of the cylinders with a ridge reamer to smooth the bores/sleeves, uncap the rods and the pistons and rods will push out the top real easy. Notice how clever IH was to 45 degree the rod caps so the rods would clear the cylinder walls easily. 99% of the replaceable cylinder sleeve engines always have the rods and pistons come out and go back in from the head end.
