If it is a diesel and isn't in too bad of shape, I'd grab it. All depends on the hours, I guess.

The bad part about a 766 is it's size. Guys like to mount those front-hang loaders on 'em and you know what those things do to a tractor. Look hard at that front end.

If this one has been used for field work tho, you might have a gem in the rough, who knows? I think the hydraulic issue is the least of your worries; you can always throw a filter or pump in the old sister.
