Richard, My service manual shows a pin that goes through the end of the crankshaft which is used when cranking the tractor with a hand crank. That pin will have to be removed first. Then after a liberal amount of penetrating oil over the nut and washer behind the nut, us a correct size socket to remove the large nut. Good luck. FB
