If you have the pto rebuilt and back in the tractor find sombody with a pressure guage and the special fitting to check the pressure. I like to have them set to about 250 to 300 psi. This is adjusted by turning the control stem from the pto housing so it pulls up more(under the rubber boot if its still on). If the pressure can't even reach 230 psi then the linkage is wore and needs to be replaced.
